Questions?
Floral preservation is not new, but the technology and processes have evolved.
We have studied and worked with the best in the business to master best practices in the techniques to preserve your dreams for a lifetime.
Many clients ask, and you might wonder…
How far in advance should I book my floral preservation reservation?
At your earliest convenience! A limited number of reservations are accepted due to the extensive time and care we allot to preserve each floral art piece.
When should I ship or deliver my bouquet to you?
We know how busy you are! Which is why we make the process of getting your bouquet to our studio as easy as possible. It’s important that we receive your flowers 24-48 hours after your wedding or event day. We offer two options to make that happen.
Personal Delivery to our studio:
Our studio is located in Dennis, Mississippi. We are an easy 2-3 hour drive from Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Jackson, MS, Birmingham, AL, Huntsville, AL. Please plan to drop off your bouquet and pick up your 4Everpetals keepsake at this location, unless other arrangements have been made.
Shipping your Fresh Flowers to our studio:
If you are not in our area, please ship your flowers overnight with Fedex or UPS. Prior to your wedding, you will receive an email with detailed step-by-step instructions on how to properly and safely pack and ship your bouquet. Your 4Everpetals keepsake will be shipped to you upon completion (shipping and handling charges apply).
What happens to my bouquet once you get it?
Once your bouquet arrives at our studio, the magic begins!
Once received, we photograph your flowers from every angle. We then thoroughly inspect and properly hydrate your bouquet. Every botanical element from your bouquet requires specific care and delicate handling to begin the preservation process. This initial step is key to achieving exceptional retention of the flower’s color and form. Over the course of 4-6 months, your flowers will be dried, preserved, and artfully designed in your chosen keepsake.

Can I add wedding mementos to my keepsake?
You sure can! Small items such as a charm, a special jewelry piece or ribbon can be added to your artwork. If you have something unique, contact us and we’d be happy to discuss options.
What if my bouquet is all white?
Many brides select an all-white color pallet. Preserved flower art pieces look more appealing if there is a contrast of color with some greenery. We would be happy to create a keepsake for you as long as your bouquet includes some greenery.
Appearance
Why are some of my flowers translucent in my Resin block?
Sometimes when flowers are cast in resin you will see some translucent places on the petals. The translucent spots you may see in your flowers occur from bruising. Bruising can occur from your florist handling the flowers, your flowers being handled at your wedding, or during the shipping process. Unfortunately, the is no way to control potential bruising and you may not even know the petals are bruised until they are cast in resin. This is very common in white roses, very thin flowers such as anemones, ranunculus, orchids, and lilies but can happen in many flowers.
Do all flowers dry the same?
All flowers will change color during the drying process as the moisture in the flowers is being removed from them. Some color changes might be more dramatic than others. For instance, white flowers dry more of a cream color, (it is extremely hard to keep them a crispy white) while reds and purples dry very dark.
When will my keepsake be ready?
Your floral preservation can take from 4-6 months to complete. The actual drying process takes approximately 2 ½ months..
The preservation and color enhancement process takes another month. The final design step and customer proof process will take an additional month or more. It is our highest priority to make sure that the flowers are preserved completely and ready for the design process.
We know you’ll be eager to receive your floral art keepsake and we really appreciate your patience in this process. We can’t wait for you to see your beautiful 4Everflowers.
How long will my preserved keepsake last?
We have a few tips to help you enjoy your preserved flowers:
- Your artwork needs to be placed away from direct sunlight and displayed in a climate-controlled room of your home. Exposure to humidity and sunlight will degrade your artwork.
- Expect your flowers to change color slightly over time, this is natural for organic materials. Our preservation process, color-enhancing, and sealing are geared toward keeping your flowers beautiful for many years to come.
Payment
How does payment work?
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to book your keepsake.
$200 Minimum purchase.
Your deposit will be applied towards your purchase. You will be billed for a second and final payment during the preservation process. Upgrades, design add-ons, and/or shipping, if applicable, will be added to the final invoice. The cost of preserving your flowers covers many steps and anywhere from 20 to 30 hours of labor by highly skilled designers at 4Everpetals.
I would love to give a keepsake as a gift. How do I do that?
A preserved floral keepsake would be such a thoughtful gift, one that your loved one will be sure to cherish for years to come. Please consult with the bride or family first to confirm the bridal bouquet will be fresh flowers (not silk). Once you confirm that the bride is using fresh flowers for her wedding, then reserve a spot and we will get all of the pertinent information so that we can work one-on-one with the bride. Please note that gift purchases must be paid in full when reserved.
What other special occasions do you preserve flowers for other than weddings?
Sentimental flowers from a loved one’s garden, anniversary flowers, funeral flowers, memorials, or any event would be appropriate for a unique floral keepsake. Please contact us if you would like to chat about your ideas
Do you offer small keepsakes?
Yes, we offer small floral keepsakes that make the perfect gift for your bridesmaids, maid-of-honor, mother-in-law or mother of the bride. They are also great as an extra keepsake for your night stand or office. We offer these only as an add on purchase to a shadow box or terrarium.
What if my wedding has come and gone?
No problem, if your florist is willing to recreate your bouquet, then we would be happy to preserve it. If you are interested in preserving your already air-dried bouquet into resin art, shadow box, or terrarium, we can do that too.
